My close experience with insects!!

In my home country, Ecuador, eating insects is a common practice in some indigenous cultures. During a trip to the Ecuadorian Amazon, I had the opportunity to try fried Mojojoy skewers, a type of larva commonly consumed in the region. Unfortunately, my experience was unpleasant, likely due to my low expectations regarding its taste. However, some of my classmates genuinely enjoyed Mojojoy, describing its flavor as buttery. On another occasion, during a visit to a museum at my university, the tour guide offered us a free sample of salted and spiced crickets produced there. Most participants were enthusiastic about the flavor, describing it as crispy and salty. Their positive reactions almost convinced me to give them a try, but my preconceived notions were stronger.
